"God's Skin"

Lynn Kennedy and I were talking about the Dagara people the first evening we were in the village of Kamkaniba. She commented that they have no books in the village so there is no word for The Bible. After hearing some of the stories in The Bible and learning about Jesus, the villagers decided to call the book "God's Skin". What an impact this story had on me. These people understand God's word better than we do. Calling it The Bible just isn't enough for me anymore, it's no longer a book to me. It will always be "God's Skin".
